Lauren Roman

  • As a skater, Lauren skated the University of Illinois Synchronized Collegiate team.  During the 2012-2013 season, Lauren earned the US Synchronized Skating Championships Bronze medal as a member of the Crystallettes Senior team. As a member of Team USA, she competed with Crystallettes Senior at the 2013 Leon Lurje Trophy.

Jamie Whyte

  • Jamie is a renowned ice dance coach who has worked with many successful teams such as Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, Meryl Davis and Charlie White and Maia and Alex Shibutani, and he continues to work with the Chinese National Dance Teams. Jamie was also the coach of Chloe Ryan, 2017 Junior and 2019 Senior US Solo Ice Dance Champion.
  • As a skater, Jamie competed in Ice Dance and during his career won 13 National Gold Medals across multiple levels. He was fortunate to have been able to represent Great Britain at international competitions and the Junior World Championships.

 

Josh Fischel

  • Josh has 16 years of coaching full time in singles.  He  has coached and choreographed for athletes who competed at the US Figure Skating National Championships, Junior National Championships as well as on the National Development Team.
  • As a skater, Josh competed at two J/I Nationals (formerly Junior Olympic) taking Bronze and placing 7th. Josh also competed at Midwestern Sectionals through the Junior level.

Shannon Jahrling

Assistant Coach: Intermediate, Novice

  • Assisted with Teams Elite Senior during their inaugural season: 2023 French Cup Champions and 2023 National Pewter Medalists
  • Choreographer/ consultant for domestic & international synchronized skating teams, solo dance competitors, and freestyle competitors. Private coach specializing in synchronized skating skills. Has brought athletes through the Gold Level of USFS tests in Ice Dance, Solo Dance, & Skating Skills
  • Prior to Teams Elite, Shannon spent seven years coaching synchronized skating.
  • As a skater, Shannon competed with the Lexettes and represented Team USA at two Junior World Championships, in Rouen, France and Milan, Italy. She is a three time national champion. Shannon also competed Ice Dance at the Senior Level with her partner, Luke Russell on behalf of British Ice Skating.

As a synchro skater Loni skated with Starlets Senior Synchronized Skating Team, National Bronze Medalists in 1999, National Pewter Medalists in 2000, Team USA memeber 1998-2000 and competed with the Starlets at the Spring Cup in Milan, Italy 2000

Christina Albreski

  • As a skater, Christina competed with the Chicago Jazz Team USA team.

Tammy Cervone

Bailey Styzinski

Head Coach: Aspire 1, Aspire 2
Assistant Coach: Intermediate, Preliminary

  • Joined Teams Elite in 2022
  • 9 years of coaching experience.
  • 2022 Midwestern Sectional Pre-Juvenile Bronze Medalists
  • As a skater, Bailey represented Chicago Jazz for 13 years, where she won three National gold medals at the Juvenile and Junior levels, skated on Team USA for 5 years and earned 3 International gold medals, and represented Team USA at the Junior World Cup. She continued on to Miami University where she skated on the Senior Team for four years, was a member of USFSA’s DREAM Program for three seasons, and earned the Karin Sherr Outstanding Student Athlete Award.

Laila Schlesinger 

Assistant Coach: Aspire 4

  • Joined Teams Elite in 1999 and was instrumental in transitioning Teams Elite to US Figure Skating from ISI 
  • Has coached Synchro Skills, Preliminary and Pre-Juvenile, bringing home numerous 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals since 2014
  • 30 years of coaching experience

Ellie Lim

Assistant Coach: Aspire 1, Aspire 2

  • 5 years of coaching experience for Snowplow Sam and Synchro Skills 1
  • As a skater of Teams Elite, Ellie has earned national, international and world medals at the Juvenile, Intermediate, Novice and Junior levels.  She was also part of the 2020 and 2022 Team USA World Team, winning the Bronze Medal at the 2022 World Junior Synchronzied Skating Championships.

Off Ice Coaches

Fury Gold

Fury Gold has forty plus years of experience as a featured dance soloist, principal dancer, and teacher in both New York and Chicago. Her students have gone on to dance in companies in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Stuttgart. Broadway shows including Jerome Robbins Broadway and the revival of West Side Story, Celine Dion’s Las Vegas show and at The Juilliard School, New York University, Harrid Conservatory and North Carolina School of Performing Arts.

She has been on the faculty of Columbia College, many private studios and has taught master classes all over the United States. She is currently on the faculty of the Gus Giordano Dance School. For the past twenty years she has also worked with elite figure skaters who include National Champions and members of the US National and Olympic Teams. Listed in Aug. 2001 Dance Magazine listed as "one of the best in their (sic) field”, Fury is a member of USFS, PSA and certified/licensed in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT).

April Sirokie

April is a classically trained ballet dancer and competitive dancer competing in jazz, contemporary, and lyrical. She graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts and Exercise Science from Ball State University. April has been able to dance and choreograph for many performing arts festivals and received multiple scholarships in Chicago and New York to continue her dance training. She performed professionally for 3 years and decided to focus on teaching dance and personal training. She is grateful for a healthy career so she can continue to create, choreograph, and coach.

April is also a personal trainer in the Chicagoland area specializing in strength and conditioning for athletes ranging from ice skaters, hockey players, to competitive dance teams.  April enjoys working with athletes of all ages and levels and continues to expand her education by attending fitness seminars, workshops, and master classes.
